7-08 bullet??

I’d personally take the 150 grain ballistic tip. One of my favorite 7mm cal bullets. Have killed everything from coyotes to elk with them out of 7mm-08s up to 7mm mashburns. It’s a pretty tough bullet

See which one the rifle likes best and go with it.

I'd have zero issues with any of the bullet designs on elk out of 7-08.

I have 3 different bullets on the bench for my new 7-08. I have 150 Partitions, 150 Ballistic Tips and 162 ELDX bullets. What would you pick for a deer hunting round where shots will be 20-200 yards?
Theyre not on you list, but my ruger 7mm 08 LOVES the hornadt 139 gr interlock bullet pushed by either varget or imr 3031

Of the three I'd pick the 150gr partition. when balistic tips came out they were pretty fragile to hear people tell it, grest on varmints not so hot on big game. haven't heard much good about ELDX bullet's. The partition is a long proven bullet that is designed to retain 70% of it's weight. For myself in 7mm I'd go with the 160gr Speer Hot Core. used it in 7mm mag and never regreted it. In actual firing it maintained 85% of it weight at 100 yds from that 7mm mag.
