6 yr old slave labor

Great Kid you hve there.

I know I was 10-11 yers old when I started reloading for my shot gun. I was the only one in my family who reloaded. My Dad's friend taught me how one eving, I was on my own after that.
I am sure Hand gun control would love that

good stuff there Patrick.

Do you find that the thrown powder charges consistent?

I have a thrower but it doesn't do well with IMR4350. Very inconsistent. I think it has to do with the shape of the granuals.

Tbone, you are dead on with your guess about the shape of the powder. Only with ball powders and real small sticks will I trust the thrower, and I use benchmark for my .223 and that stuff throws real nice. I measure every 5th throw and very rarely find one over .1 grain off. large stick powders are not good (such as 4350 and R-19) , i throw every one into a pan and then trickle up to the proper charge. My usual throw on the bigger stick powders are .3 off at times.
