301-20 Lima Peaks

Must have accidentally put my wife... pregnant wife, in for 301 instead of 300. And yep... she drew one of the 20 tags. Wondering if anyone has had the tag before- curious on access and hiking difficulty. Usually not an issue but in October my wife will be 7 months pregnant. Regardless, will have to go check out some areas late August!

Snow line area has good access, I always see good bucks during the archery season up there. Lots of flat area.

Your concentrations will be between the interstate and the mountains. I have not attempted to get access hunting goats there, but I would knock on doors. Most ranchers in that area don't really care about antelope. You can find antelope up higher, but unless you are very picky, you shouldn't need to. It still amazes me when I am up high and I kick one up.

Went and archery hunted for 4 days. Only ran into 4 goats... also hunted just North of 301 and ran into hundreds. Maybe there's a reason why 301 only gives out 20 tags!
