The other day a friend asked for some help with his 30-06. After we got things tightened up and his scope mounted correctly, we tried his varied and mismatched selection of ammo. He had two different Remington rounds, one of which shot better than anything else he had. Problem is that he didn't have the box for those and wasn't sure what they are, being a reloader I'm not familiar with Remington's factory rounds and their website doesn't show anything that matches. Is this an older Premier AccuTip of a different color than the current options? I told him we could work up a handload, but he wants factory stuff and this was definitely the best stuff we tested, just under inch and-a-half at 200 yards. I may just steal his gun for a few days and work up a handload anyway.
