I pulled my Nash 17C trailer with my Polaris 500 in the bed of my f150 1100 miles to AZ and back last year without issue. Put a weight dist hitch on the trailer, run across some scales to fine adj the hitch and you should be fine.

I only have older experience with this.
My 1978 F150 windowed the block before the 3 month of age mark. And it did it again at the 6 month mark. It was fine after the 3rd engine. ( Ford charged me for the oil and filter both times btw)
The next F150 I owned was a 2009. It threw all the rod and main bearings before it hit the 50,000 km mark.
And Ford refused the warranty claim, so I had truck payments on a lawn ornament for a while.
I've never had a serious issue with any Chevy truck I've owned, so I'd say anything but Ford.

I understand that. Had a F-150 that was a total lemon. My next two trucks were Chevys never had a problem. Im in a F-150 2.7 turbo 6. No issues. I just need a 3/4 to handle the weight of my Yamaha and tongue weight

I’d take an F250 Tremor with the 7.3 if I had an extra $80,000 laying around, which I don’t.

There was a 2024 at the Billings Cadillac dealership for $63,000 the other day. It was a Lariat with 7k miles. I came so close to buying it. I don’t need it but I wanted it. Not surprisingly, it sold fast.

That’s a great deal, which is sad to say. I wasn’t that much more than half that when I bought my tundra new in 2017.

Came out with a 4 cylinder Duro-max . For all the more you are hauling, neighbor is pulling a 23’ travel trailer with his, he’s very impressed with the power and gets 15 to 30 mpg. 15 hauling/ 30 around town.
Or a duelly 7.3 super cab 110 thousand. It’s only money

Buy a Ford 6.7 power stroke and be done with it. I have a 2017 with 210k on it, I bought it new and have had very few issues. I don’t haul a travel trailer but I pull with it pretty regularly up to 15k on my flatbed gooseneck. Once you pull with a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel you’ll roll your eyes at guys who say their under powered and under braked 1/2 ton pulls great. It’s not the same, not even close.

I have a bit of experience. I have a 2025 GMC 2500 duramax, and have driven both a gasser and powerstroke new Fords in the last couple months for work. The ride of the fords is way rougher. Aside from trim levels between them, flip a coin. They all have issues or don't. Get one, fix it if it breaks and get on with life.

Just had a Ram rental work truck, and was like stepping back in time. My 2008 had way more options.

When I buy a truck I always buy there basic truck. For example my F-150 is a XL. Its a great truck. Bought it on line in Oregon. No one wanted it. The dealer said everyone wants a truck fully loaded. My truck gets a lot of miles off road Have you guys ever heard of the term “ Nevada Pin stripping”. Thats evidence that your trucks is used on un maintained old mining roads. Cant tell you how many guys are afraid their 4x4 might get dusty. So im looking for. F-250 XL

$80,000 !!!!!! My last truck was a F-150 XL 4x4. 2017. I bought in 2020. On line. It had 18,000 miles on it. The dealer said no one wanted it and kept lowering the price. I got it for $26,000. Its been a great truck not one single issue. A 2.7 turbo 6

When looking for trucks i saw a Ford for $118,000. I asked the salesman what the………….!!!!!! He said its a Raptor. I was blown away. He said they sell a lot of them!

The features of the tremor would be worth having if taking off road. You can get it on the XLT package but I don’t think it’s available on XL.

I wish they would make a raptor in xl trim with a price that reflects it.

Didn’t your Polaris plus your tongue weight exceed your gross vehicle load weight

My ford 2.7 6. Would work its just when i put the Yamaha in the bed im well over my max weight. Im camping sometimes for more yhan 6 months and drive all over the Nevada out back on that ATV. Id be severely handicapped without it

You can get airbags added to your suspension and make it punch above its listed gvwr
