290 desert deer tag

Anyone have any information on unit 290 desert in Washington? Took so long to draw it I'm to old to ever get it again. Don't want to waste this chance. Thanks

It can be a good hunt, but it can be tough too, those mule deer like the thick stuff in there. Sand dunes, cattails, etc, definately not your typical mule deer country.

Absolutely, think of it as using whitetail strategies on mule deer.

Start knocking on doors and getting some permission. Most of the deer are on public land, but some of the private access off of Dodson Road can be worthwhile.
