280 Loads

I'm fishin here; I need a really good 280 load that I can use for big mulies or elk.
My rifle is a 98 FN with 19.5" barrel. I have loaded every thing from 139 Hornady to 168 Hornady with some 145 Speer and 140 Nosler Ballistic Tips. It likes just about anything I put thru it. I want to know what is your favorite load? Recoil is not any issue.

I use the Speer 145's and 160's with R-22. Very accurate all the way to 300 yds.

I also load for a buddy's .280 with H4831SC and 140 gr Nosler Partitions. Not as accurate but then he never shoots over 75-100 yds. anyway.

I loaded some Nosler Ballistic Tip 140's with RL-19 But couldn't get the accuracy I was looking for. Last week I put up some Speer 145's with reduced powder; IMR 4064 at about 2550 FPS and was picking off Ground Squirrels at 250-300 yds. Thing acting like a varmint gun. I'll pick up some R-22 this weekend and try it. Thanks Nut.
