25-20 bullets

25-45 Sharpes does, with a full case of Ram Tac powder and cci 41 primers I get 2688 fps average. When I bought the 110 grain FTXs from midway I assumed they were for the 25- 20. Wasn't it a lever action or am I confusing it with something else?

It's a Winchester model 1892 side gate lever action. Most loads call for 6-10 gr of powder depending on what you use.
The 110 FTX must have been for the 25-35 Winchester. Have you tried cast bullets? That must be a pretty slow caliber so lead bullets should work well in it.

We have 5 factory loads left from 50 years ago. I need to scrounge up some more brass before doing much of anything
I'm trying to line up load data and components first.
What is the parent case, or is there another case still in production that you could repurpose?

I have done a lot of repurposing of brass, during the last ammo shortage I couldn't find much on the shelves but managed to find a bucket full of 5.56 and 7.62x51 Nato at a scrap yard. I opened up those 5.56 blanks, trimmed them to make 6x45 and 25-45 Sharpes. I didn't need to make 5.56 ammo because I alredy had enough of that.

Then I took those 7.62 Nato blanks and blew them out to 8mm Mauser and 30-06. If the neck split I tried it to make 7mm08 and 260 Remington.

I even trimmed the messed up 5.56 cases all the way down to 9mm and 7.62x25 Tokerov. And the 7.62 Nato down to 458 SOCOM and 45 acp. But that was a lot of work and they were only good for one shot after that.
