1/4" of rain last night, first rain we've had in a while. Fingers crossed there's two more days with rain in the forecast for this week. Everything is doing well, I'll put my second planting of beans in this week. Lettuce is finally getting big enough to start eating on.

First potato flower today. Finally cleared the onions out and planted the second batch of beans. Also got my new irrigation system put in finally. As always, cheating out last year cost me more in the long run. Should have just done this to begin with.

What is the composition of the soil that you use in those beds? Is it potting mix, just topsoil? They look great.

Straight compost from a local mulch yard. This fall or next spring they're going to need some amendment for drainage but otherwise I've been very happy with them.
