NIL makes a lot more teams competitive. If you were a fan of the handful of teams that always had most of the best players, I guess it's worse.

For sure though, it's in a transition period that's why I think it's crazy the "experts" think they have it figured out. You can't even go by who spent the most money because some of those players will be hurt and some will be busts.

Ha. That's not quite true, of course. He made a lot of money in the NFL.

I also remember the Ohio State guys getting in trouble and USC vacating their title for the payoffs for Reggie Bush.
But, not to be outdone, Nike was paying athletes all over the country all of the way back to the 70s. And college players had "jobs" they never had to show up to basically forever.
 
Oregon State is my team, I really need to pay more attention their games.
Oregon State is my dad’s favorite team Also , they have really fallen on hard times with the dissolving of the original Pac 12 , all the best players and coaches abandoned that program. They’re basically having to start over from scratch.
