***2025 oregon spring bear results***

well results came out today///i pulled a n w 710 a tag this year as i was zeroed out from last year/good luck this year

We thought we had other plans, so I didn't apply our family for much. Now our plans have changed, and we didn't draw anything besides. Dad and uncle also failed to draw. Might consider a fishing trip instead.

I'll be hunting on Unimak Island with Justin Dubay. I'm sure hoping for a good year.

I don’t know Justin personally but I know he is well regarded. It’s been a while since I was last out there but 90% of the island is a wilderness, about the size of the Willamette valley from Portland to Corvallis. It’s a great bear producer, should be a great hunt. Looking forward to your reports.

2026 oregon spring bear apps are due soon to give it a try again,,just gonna try local again for me,even though nearby unit isnt the best im zeroed out on points so im notgoing for the top areas.

It has been such a mild winter in the blues, could be an interesting season. I cut bear tracks, small bear, yesterday at about 4500 foot elevation. Didn’t even register they are normally sound asleep in an old deadfall this time of year.
There are some, but not a lot of elk down yet. Weird winter.

gonna be interesting,,im sure they will be talking about little to no snow pack this spring at this rate,,{at least in the northwest}fire season is coming
