Maybe THE Ohio State should have been less focused on ā€œthe worldā€ and just focused on Miami. 2 Ls in a row after looking like world beaters most of the year. Can’t tell if they just got beat by a better team or if they were really distracted. Sayin didn’t plant his feet after the beginning of the first quarter. Beck was ā€œgood Beckā€ this game for Miami for sure

Those first round byes aren’t attractive so far…. Not sad to see Ohio fall out though
0-5 now for teams with the bye , all 5 have fallen behind by double digits in the first half , there gonna need to change the format , 1st round needs to start the week after the conference championship games, 1-6 seeds gets a home game, no more off weeks

Add it to the list of stuff they need to fix with this playoff šŸ˜‚.

No reason (aside from šŸ’°) that these second round games aren’t played at home for the higher seed. It’s a shame to lose out on that environment.

The first round bye has definitely looked more like a curse than a blessing. Hopefully that changes for at least one team today, but I honestly feel nervous for my Dawgs because of it. At the end of the day I don’t put too much of my emotional well-being on the shoulders of 18-24 year old kids playing a game, but a dub sure would be nice

It would be a bad look to lose to a team without their head coach using offensive staff that’s pretty much being borrowed… and UGA is as healthy as they’ve been all year, not losing anyone of note

It’s never to early to get the smack going !!! Fall camps have started around the country, season starts Labor Day weekend!!!

Gonna be an epic fall !! Got tix for the Cats in September, then in Oct , headed back to Oregon to see the Ducks live for the 1st time in 10 years got a hotel in Eugene and my sons are coming, taking the kids to
Eugene a few times a year was a family tradition when they were little

2012 Ducks vs Huskies was the last time I remember having both boys with me at a Duck game together.. good thing about still having some family in Oregon don’t have to uber or rent a car to bump around…. Good luck to everyone on your team and season …. Quack šŸ¦†!!!!

Im a Ducks Fan but im worried about their game with Texas Teck, especially after that Game with JM

UGA is going to be missing their starting center, DL, OLB, and two safeties IIRC. They won’t be full strength. I agree on the coaching staff being a supposed advantage, but they don’t play the game… 18-24 year old kids do, and their emotions and focus are easily effected by lots of things that we don’t see, but a long layover definitely effects that too. If it weren’t for the layover I’d feel pretty dang confident about it, but we shall see. I’ll be pulling for the Dawgs either way

Are you sure? Ducks don't have a bye this year! :D
I’m feeling good about Oregon should build a first half lead based off past games , and I’m happy the Bucknuts got bounced, but I was tell my son us college fans ain’t seeing these teams at their best with long layoffs,
I think it’s in the best interest of the games to streamline the playoffs

Ok, but they can change it next year. :D
They’ve trying to keep the old money in with the old system. trying to keep the bowl games as playoffs on New Year’s and blah blah blah, but it’s not gonna work. They could still use the traditional bowls, but they’re just gonna have to maybe not have them all on new year’s

I like college football traditions, but that’s out the window now with conference realignments and the expanded playoffs.
