I really hope it’s elk tmrw so my season can officially be set

Got my first CO deer tag. Super excited

Spent my points on Unit 66 rifle

What season?

[Black Elk]

Well, I guess the winter kill in the west shifted point holders to the east. Just got my point for what should of been a 100% draw with room to spare.

Exactly how I was. Even went with a private land only option and didn’t pull a tag.

Getting too many tags is a bitch, had to surrender my early season above treeline buck tag. Knew I was going to draw it, but at application time didn't know I'd be hunting a billie

Well, I’ll be going after your tag and anything else that sounds fun up until the season starts with how I have struck out so far

I'm glad Colorado is careful in how they release results. The system that works doesn't need changed. Definitely better to be careful than end up with a situation like this: https://billingsgazette.com/outdoor...cle_6cb00c38-f505-11ed-ba5a-07aeb7ead7ee.html

Some folks are going to be VERY upset.

At least in modern times, I don’t recall NM, NV, UT or WY (except non-res elk) ever having issues releasing draw odds all at once.

Looks like I’ll be elk hunting

[BoulderBulls]

Elk on my cc, was it first or second choice

[perma]

Drew an elk tag!!!!! Not sure if first or second.

[marksjeep]

3 pending elk charges; two youth, one regular.

[Mountain Man]

I never thought I’d say this, but thank goodness I didn’t draw the RFW elk tag I applied for. I don’t think I would have been able to handle that on top of my moose and deer tags.

66 2nd

same here. good luck

Looking on ht, seeing the commotion about elk tags, decided to check my e-mails. As I'm looking, my cell phone goes off, my wife drew a cow tag.

[Dsnow9]

Finally got to spend some tag money this morning, I’ll be hunting elk! Now to see which tag I drew!
