Interesting read. I've read a lot about how rough the hunting was last year due to weather but the stats look solid. Not sure how accurate CO's harvest report system is though as I have yet to hunt there.

For the unit I hunted rifle the harvest went down considerably so maybe it depends on where you look and what season.
3rd rifle season (south west Colorado)
2015 total est. harvest 3rd rifle - 347
2016 total est. harvest 3rd rifle - 152
Archery season told a different story (central west Colorado)
2015 total est harvest archery - 152
2016 total est harvest archery - 181
The balance of cows to bulls swing to the cow side of the equation.
Interesting to read but it doesn't sway my strategy or unit choices this year. Figure I just keep hitting it hard and covering the area.
