2008 NM Antelope

Back in 2008 I was lucky enough to draw a New Mexico muzzleloader antelope tag in unit 29. After 2 blown stalks on opening day I managed to get within 150 yards of this buck. The rest is history. I haven't been able to get a tag ever since.

It sucks but the odds are that you only get a tag every 20 years of trying (5% draw odds)...

I drew a tag on the McGregor Range hunt years ago when I lived in Alamogordo. It was a great hunt that lasted about two hours. There are some great bucks all through that country if you can draw a permit.
