2006 Jr. Javelina

Well, I troll quite a bit here but I only post when I feel like I have something worth while.

Last weekend my son killed his second Javelina here in AZ. We owe HUGE props to the ADA (Arizona Deer Association) and their helpers at the ADA Junior Javelina Camp for the youth hunters in 20C (one helper in particular who helped us 'scout/glass' this pig will remain nameless/faceless since I don't have his permission to post). Anyway, we had a good time glassing on Friday morning and one of our friends spotted a heard at 600 yds or so. We got down to them but lost them in the big boulders & brush. Finally bumped them after moving slowly with the wind in our favor. Erik made a great shot on the last pig. One shot & it was done. hump

Thanks much for the words guys. We had a blast!

I'm actually more into his hunts than I am my own at this point. There is nothing like being out there with your kid doing this. Can't wait for my next two to come of age in the next few years....
