Well went out this morning at around 6:00 got in the stand at about 6:30 and set there for about until about 9:30 and what seemed like a slow morning got interesting really fast when ever a 7-pointer came trotting in and stopped at about 50 yds. It looked like a pretty good buck so i decided to shoot it and it ran about 15 yds and fell in a creek.

I went by and looked in the cooler...nice buck. I like the way his main beams come together and cross in the front.

I just have to say that I'm so happy for my son this year. He has had luck on his side this year. It seems he has deer all over him ever time we get out. There's nothing better then a little luck to help a young man out.
