1st Turkey Hunt...

I got invited on a turkey hunt for this coming weekend. This will be my 1st turkey hunt. By the time that I was invited there were only archery tags available.

To say I'm excited would be an understatement.

Have your buddies bow hunted turkeys before? Turkeys have great movement perception, so haveing cover when drawing your bow back is critical. If you don't have a blind, at least get positioned behind some cover to mask all that movement.

I think at least some of them have bow hunted turkeys. I don't have a blind but it doesn't sound like I should have a problem killing one.

I've been shooting a few hundred arrows a day for awhile now, Any turkey inside of 60yds is in big trouble!
