    What a clown

    Yup. Years ago I spined a doe, instantly paralyzed her back half but she got up on her front legs and dragged herself away from me. I ran down from my stand and put a kill shot in her. The whole ordeal only lasted 30 seconds to a minute but I can still picture her face right before I put her down.

    Probably for the same reason you expected him to go down. The wildlife agencies aren't idiots, especially when all your hunts are posted online. I've always been suspicious that he never hunts in Alaska given how strict they are about poaching, wanton waste, etc. Total speculation on my part...

    @mtmuley and @Big Fin I'm trying to get my wife to hunt with me and I think antelope is the perfect start. She's had her hunter safety since she was a kid but has never actually hunted. Any tips for easing her into it if I draw a tag this year and she just follows along?
