Yup. Years ago I spined a doe, instantly paralyzed her back half but she got up on her front legs and dragged herself away from me. I ran down from my stand and put a kill shot in her. The whole ordeal only lasted 30 seconds to a minute but I can still picture her face right before I put her down.
