If you can get it in the US watch it
It’s good, Jeremy buys a farm, it’s funny but it also highlights the struggles of rural life and making a living. He has a lot of deer on his land and goes stalking in one episode
Thanks for the info, I live about 30-40mins from York further towards the east coast. It’s a very beautiful city, with a lot of history.
I have visited the US a few times, Chicago to watch Jordan before he retired ( I used to be a massive nba fan) Disney Florida with the kids. New York to watch...
Hi, how do you rate the first lite gear in comparison to kuiu. I live in England and First lite is very difficult to get ( I don’t believe they will ship from the US)
There is one retailer in Europe that will ship, I’ve bought kuiu gear from the US before and it’s great just fancied something...
The better quality restaurants serve game.
A lot of the rural pubs will have pheasant on the menu during the season.
I live in a small market town, a lot of the local farms have a self run pheasant shoot so the shot game gets eaten.
I would say once people are introduced to eating it they...
It’s also much harder to possess a firearm in England.
You need a reason to have one, (target club or hunting paid or on permission)
You need security at home, ammo must be locked separate to rifle
Medical record check, no history of depression/anger etc
Police check criminal record

Centre fire has to achieve a minimum muzzle velocity and bullet weight to be deer legal. .243 is minimum deer legal calibre...
Can someone please explain how applying for tags and the draw works?
Here in England I have sole permission on 4 local farms I can shoot what I want and as many as I want.
If it’s in season I can shoot it
Hunting in the US seems very different to here in England. I have permission on 4 privately owned farms local to me that I can go anytime and shoot as many deer as I want. The farmers just want the deer kept under control.
From what I have seen the US is far stricter with Tags etc.
No muntjac around me, only Roe in East Yorkshire. Have shot muntjac and Chinese in Norfolk. Also friends have a syndicate lease in Scotland that I have shot Reds on.
That’s the only species of deer I have in my local area. Beautiful animals
We have so many of them, see them pretty much everyday. It’s roe Buck season at the moment, had one so far this year, loads about but freezer is full
