Rifle for the ranch.
Gramps has used the same 6mm Remington 700 with an old Bushnell on the farm as long as I can remember. The old man is still the best shot I’ve ever seen. -
Bullet selection for 6.5 cm
I’ve noticed the 6.5creed is one of the most forgiving rifles I’ve owned when it comes to ammo (I own 6mm rem, 7mm rem mag, 30-06, 300WM). It shoots damn near everything well (except Hornady Superformance). Best groups I’ve got were the 135g Berger Hybrids. Next best groups were 129g Hornady... -
Factory Ammunition Help - 7 Rem Mag
The only factory ammo my XBolt 7rem mag likes is the 168g Federal Premium Berger Hybrids. Heavier bullet seems to group better. Best of luck!- LukeMN28

Price point = good scopes
I have a VX3i 3.5-10x40 on a .30-06 and have been very pleased with it. Crisp glass, but further than 350yds, could use more magnification. I have a Viper 6.5-20x50 on a 7mm Rem Mag and it’s a wonderful piece of glass. Both were in the $400-$500 range and have served me very well. Good luck... -

My Browning XBolt Hunter 22” Barrel absolutely hates the Superformance 165g. Flyers everywhere. Sure as shit I throw in some Federal Blue Box 150g and I’m 2” @ 200. Sticking with the cheapo’s or trying Federal Premium Berger Hybrids in 168- LukeMN28
