    Get whichever you like. Deer don’t see the way we do. I’ve seen some studies that think wearing the same color or pattern head to toe looks like a big blob that’s easy to see to deer & elk. It’s really just marketing.

    Use a good case. A couple years ago I flew home to Seattle from Fargo and the tsa agent commented how surprised he was at the number of people that will buy a $20 case to put a $2,000-$3,000 shotgun in the cargo hold of an airplane.

    goHunt has a new one out, also. You might consider doing a trial of all three & see which one suits you best. There all good companies & it’s easy to move data between OnX & BaseMap.

    I use a 5 gallon steel safety can. Bought it at Lowe’s. They’re expensive but worth it. They seal tight and last for a long long time.

    If it’s actively raining I wear rain pants. If it’s just wet ground and brush, or there’s snow, I go with the gaiters. I hate being wet and am ok spending a lot of money to stay dry.

    Wall tent care after the hunt

    I drape mine out in a spare room in the house for a few days. I turn it it every day to make sure all of it dries. Brush the dirt off, put it in its bag and into a plastic tote, then to the garage Storage.

    Call the boot company on the phone & talk to customer service. Tell hem what size you wear in other brands & they can probably get you the right size.
