    I have an optika6 on a 300 Wby and a 6.5-06. Both have tracked well and held zero. I'm currently deciding what rifle to out on a new rifle and I'm in a bind because the optika6 is out of stock everywhere.

    I have a pair of OR and Kennetrek gaiters. I wear them rain or shine. Wet or dry. I like that they keep the bottom of my pants from ripping out or getting rubbed on brush.

    Priced Out of Replacement Blade Knives

    I freshen the replaceable blades on a leather strop. By doing this I can cape at least 2 deer on one blade.

    Looks like the felony case is still active. They removed the One Bad Fish Cop video from their social media right before the sentencing. I hope he loses his hunting privledges for the third time if he's found guilty.

    It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Muley Freak is taking the Trump approach by utilizing a negative hashtag against the fish and game officer. If he is found guilty, that will most likely play into the sentencing.

    New Vortex Spotter

    I recently picked up a new Vortex mini spotter to replace my Leupold BX-4 15-45 spotter. Overall, I think the Vortex is a better scope than the Leupold. I was never able to use the Leupold over 40x because of chromatic aberration.

    If I still want to draw next year, I'll wait until late fall to view my points. By then the MFG should have deleted the point I bought last year. Then I can buy a point this fall and purchase another point when I apply. Hopefully my points don't get deleted, but I'm not holding my breath...

    All, I bought a non-resident pref point in 2021, with hopes of hunting in Montana in 2023. Prior to 2022, if you didn't apply in 3 consecutive years, the state would delete your points. But starting in 2022, you must apply in consecutive years or the state will delete your points. Does anyone...

    Vortex Diamondback vs. Viper

    The Viper has more clarity at low light and seems to have a different coating that makes everything seem brighter.
