    You are out east. If hunting mostly deer and maybe an occasional elk, the 7mm-08 is your huckleberry. Heck, it will take black bear and moose with heavier bullets. It is nearly the perfect round, but a 280 Ackley may be more perfecter. I have no problem finding 7mm-08 ammo.
