How am I seeing videos of high profile hunters bow hunting in CO with Hoyt bows that are only offered with 85% let-off?
CO has a let-off maximum of 80%.
I hunt solo and need a lightweight tripod that can be extended over 1’ tall grass...maybe taller...for after-the-kill photos. I’ve used a few of the cheaper ones (<$15) and they are junk. Looking for quality.
I do need it to be light and compact for backpacking and have a ball head.
Anybody?
I’m thinking I may just Euro Mount the next couple deer I get. Problem is, I hunt across state lines and can’t transport any brain or spinal cord matter.

I’m noticing that in certain draws, there might be two applicants with 7-8 points and didn’t draw, but someone with 6 points secured a tag? How’s that? Did the guys with 7-8 points only...
I’ve never shot an antelope; will in the future. I’m pretty good at caping and storing until I can get to a taxi, but I’m a little nervous about the hair on an antelope. What do you guys do to ensure you don’t “break” hair or cause other damage to the hide?
First post (lurker)!
Couple last minute things are coming to mind as I prepare to camp and hunt in the Hills this coming week. I’m coming from Upper MI as a first timer. I’m a big woods hunter and like to get back in where there’s not much pressure. Not planning on road hunting one bit...
