    Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. I used to trap during those days, and earlier as well in the good old days of the 70's & early 80's. Sounds bad but I kinda hope that disease hits the predators hard for a couple years due to over population.

    Spring turkey is my absolute passion. Been thinking about it non stop. I’m switching to a 20 gauge this year w/handloads of tss #8. Patterns beautifully. Last year was my best year yet. 5 birds outa 7 tags. Had a blast. I’ll be perfectly happy this year with a couple quality hunts.
