Dave, Can you layout the differences in the normal gohunt membership ($150) vs the explorer? I am guessing with the explorer you do not get the Filtering 2.0 and draw odds. Is this correct?
NVM, I found the comparison when I clicked on the link provided.
I have a like new never hunted Mystery Ranch Pintler Pack Size Large that I have only taken around my neighborhood to train. Its never been hunted nor carried an animal. I will sell for $250 TYD.
I would look into the Western Mountaineering Badger. Its a 15 degree bag that will get you down to 10 probably. Lightweight but expensive. Buy once cry once. The way I look at it is if you get a good nights rest you will be able to hunt better the next day. Plus how many people do you think...
Get the 9-13. Any shorter is worthless to me while hunting. I took one out last year to Wyoming and end up borrowing my friends 9-13 after he shot his animal. 6-9 is great for practice.
IM with AmericanLongrifle. Get a Kidd Lightweight. I bought one and put in on my 10/22 receiver. Its flat out great. Lightweight at 18" I also bought their muzzle break as well. I think that it's more for looks than anything.
TexasSam,
I live 60 minutes North of KC now but i used to live in Overland Park and Shawnee, KS. What kind of hunting are you into. If you are looking for public land deer/turkey hunting the MO side may be your best bet. Tons more public land in MO than KS. As others have said Power and...
I think the hate comes from the marketing as well. There seems to be a new group of hunters coming into play and stores and marketing are telling them to get a Creedmoor and you will be able to shoot 1000 yards right out of the box and it will literally kill anything. What the uninformed buyer...
Winchester XPR in 6.5 CM. I put a Boyd's Pro Varmint stock on it. It shoots really good, but i don't have a need for it. I have a trusty Tikka in .270 that will do about the same thing. I cant find anyone to buy the XPR. I guess you live and you learn. Its hard to sell cheap guns in my...
I agree with the others. Don't do a solid. Bought a newer house last year an the deck looked awesome. One of the selling points. Now I'm ashamed for people to see it. They redid it last June to list the house. Im hoping to power was most of it off and do a transparent stain.
