Treestand Gear Hooks
I'm looking for anybody's recommendations/current setups for hanging their gear in a tree. I've used the screw in hooks before on private, but setting up on public, I'm looking to be a little more mobile/in compliance w/ Forest Service regs and use a strap w/ hooks. Unless anyone's got any... -

Annoying Yard Bucks Anyone?
The biggest blacktail I ever saw was along the sac river right outside of Princeton. Orchards all around and the thick jungle to hide in. Those river bucks and park bucks are ridiculous. I always love seeing big CA deer, it gives me that much more motivation knowing what's out there -

Another note on calling the wardens, people generally love to help kids get on animals. They may be able to give you some landowners' info that will allow you access for that purpose. Or not, but its worth a shot!
