2026 Colorado Big Game Brochure is Out...
I was surprised to see no mandatory CWD testing for deer hunts this year. And that the NW CO winter kill units went back to OTC for 2nd and 3rd rifle bull tags. I realize the winters since have been mild and the elk herd has recovered well, I was just surprised that I missed that change before... -

3.5 years old and taken in Nov of 2025. This buck was killed in NW CO in the brutal winter kill zone of 22/23 which means he survived the winter of 22/23 as a fawn.- TheGreek

Anyone Use a Savage 99?
I have used my grandfather’s model 99 in .243 to take a WY pronghorn and a number of PA whitetails. -
