    Well, NE won. Heard a few gobbles this morning but never saw a bird. Headed back to NW CO now. Father and son I ran into killed one this morning that they roosted last night right off the road next to the parking area. Next year, spring bear.

    Any airline pilots here?

    I hate flying but I hunt with a bunch of commercial pilots. My one pilot buddy’s line is “95% of what we do, you could train a monkey to do, we get paid for the other 5% of the time.” He also refers to himself as a taxi driver.

    It’s pretty funny to think that NMG&F is probably gonna release the draw results on the exact day they said they would and we are still gonna be pissed about it. But it’s their own fault for being a week early these past few years.

    I saw one at the gun store the other day and was seriously tempted to take it home. My old 870 wingmaster, which is my duck gun, is 2 3/4in shells only. Great guns.

    I saw that. I didn’t realize that CWD had been detected in Adams County in the Golden Triangle. That’s really disappointing to hear.

    I was really hoping for a surprise Friday release. Guess it ain’t gonna happen. Why do we think we are all so excited for an event to occur that is likely to leave most all of us disappointed? Interesting comment on the nature of man.
