    Kitchenaid Stand Mixer maintenance

Not to get off track but what do you use them so much for? I bought one about 12 years ago and I think I used to twice to make cookies and about twice a year for making zucchini noodles.

    Making Burger what went wrong?

Me either I been grinding once for 40 years. To each his own but I just make sure the meat is semi frozen or very close too it when it goes in the grinder. I don’t add any additional fat to my basic grind either the last 30 years. Again to each his own. If the OPs meat looked the same coming...

    I gotta quit drinking.

You think it’s a problem and people close to you think it’s a problem. It is a problem. I was a heavy drinker years ago for a long time. From age 27-50. It did not cause me people problems, job problems or legal problems. But I spend too much money on it and it wasn’t good for my health. As I...

    Best all arround scope

The 2.5-8 is one of my favorites for my eastern woods whitetail hunting. The other one is the 3.5-10x40. I have an older Swaro in 3-10x42 that I like but my VX3s are more clear for my eyes.

I use an RTIC 30 soft side. Its light, hold ice or ice packs well downside its a little harder to unzip and get open than a hard cooler. I used a small igloo marine cooler for a long time. I couldn't find one after my last one crapped out

    Home-Built Walk-In Cooler?

Cool bot is what I have seen used. I haven't heard any issues with them. I think the biggest thing is to plan how you will get the deer in the cooler. Nice to have a rail to move it from skinning or field dressing area into the cooler. But not completely necessary.

    Here’s to the $43 cooler!

Seems good to go. Glad its been working for you. Weight is a big issue with rotomolded coolers. I use them for about everything except on my kayak and on my surf fishing cart. I use lighter coolers for those needs. Use the right tool for the job at hand.

Is a custom rifle worth it

By the time I got enough experience , settled down, understood what I really wanted and could afford one I didn’t figure I would live long enough to get my monies worth out of it…. So I made due with a couple semi custom/ modified rifles that I couldnt be happier with. A Rem 700 XCR 2 in 270...

    Stuffing

I patty it up and have it for my next meal or use it in something that .I would use bulk sausage for. You also manually feed it into your stuffing tube but I have had mixed results with that so I jusy cook it up and put a chew on it.

There's Something About a Nice Knife

I never have been knife crazy. I do have a large number of good knives and even a few really nice knives. I pretty happy with one that fits my hand and is easy to keep sharp. I am scared to get to into great knives as I have a tendency to go over board. When it comes to knives Im not buy once ...

It was my first bolt action centerfire. It was like new when I bought it. My brother got it for boot in a car deal. He called me one day and offered it me for a $100 with the tasco scope on it.
