    GPS help

Been using an OnX chip for years in my Garmin you can't go wrong with it. I just update it every year before hunting season in order to get the latest BMA's and landowner information.

    Sighting in new bow..10-20 yards

Most western hunters start their pins at 30 yards. Bows these days are so fast anything inside that range and you will be in the money.

Ask your onX Hunt questions here!

How exactly does the RMEF layer help you? I was looking for the new land that RMEF had a hand in purchasing near Augusta Montana so I turned on that layer hoping it would help but it really didn't help much. I guess my question is what is then point of the layer?

    home archery shop?

Most everything you do can be done at home. Get a small cable press and an arrow saw or make one and you can do everything you need to do. Check out John Dudley and his youtube channel Nock On. He has a series called nocked and ready to rock that will teach you everything you need to know.

Broadhead for elk, deer and pronghorn

Be aware that if you have been shooting a different weight field point and want to move up in weight for your broadheads you will need to double check your arrow spine.

    Arrow recommendations?

Depends on how accurate you want out of your arrow. If you are shooting only 20 yards from a tree stand you probably don't need a good quality arrow as you might need shooting out to 70 yards or more. I shoot Easton Axis match grade arrows and build them myself but I practice out to over 100...

Bow string twist and arrow rotation

Never heard of that before but maybe that is why some bows shoot an arrow clockwise or counter clockwise naturally. Meaning if you take a bare shaft and put a mark on it and shoot a target from three or four feet away did your mark end up on the left or right side. I have heard people doing this...

    Danner Pronghorn thoughts

Back in the day, you used to be able to return your Danner Acadia work boots and exchange them for a pair of hunting boots, for some reason Danner will not do it anymore. So I just use my issued boots any more I figure if I can wear the Acadias or Fort Lewis boots all day hiking for work then...
