NM 53 rifle bull?
Hunted in there last year. Very brushy in places, which is where you'll find the elk. A lot of road traffic. Thanks Hank. I'll be in 16c for the first couple of weeks in September. Lasted year I saw many, many deer (first time ever) while riding FR 696. They were hanging mainly south of the road in all those smaller arroyos and canyons that drop into Taylor whitewater. I'll be looking in there...- NM Elk Addict

Didn't draw but all for a good cause. Texan won the tag. The lucky duck. Hope he finds a monster if he keeps the tag. I've heard that the tag can sell for over 40k on the market, so even if he doesn't hunt it, he can buy a couple of home grown elk and drop em right in the freezer.- NM Elk Addict
