I just set up my new gun and scope combo a month ago. I got the Xbolt Hells canyon speed in 300wsm. Since I was putting on a Leupold i went with leupold mounts and rings. My scope was a 50mm so I had to use the high rings as the mediums were just a shade too short. The setup fits me... -

I am considering unit 120 just because ive seen that area in the past. Not sure if unit 7 still has the hype it once did or how good the access is to get in. Wonder if it is better with 9 pts to use an outfitter and make the most of it or still go DIY. -

is there a reason on why you chose the 15th? can you start a week later? the rut may be much hotter a week later than the 15th is why i say that -

get the 10x50. you will want it during first light and last light spotting game. keep an eye out on camofire.com they run some good glass on there daily -
Wyoming Deer unit 82/elk unit 21
was a great year in 82 this year. got some snow up by the divide and saw a bunch of deer down low. my group of three hunted it for the first time ever and tagged out with three nice bucks. saw some even bigger ones after the tags were filled of course. -

Tikka T3 Shooters…Anyone Out There
I have the Tikka T3 in 7mm as well and i reload with 140 gr barnes. the gun likes berger bullets too. Ive killed elk, deer and bear with it with no issues. pm me if you want the exact reload mix. -

Unit 82 on fire!!!
Just got the fish and game email showing that the southern part of Wyomings unit 82 has caught fire. Read up to 2900 acres burned with portions of the unit being closed. Hunters check the forest service link to stay updated as your hunt approaches. Prayers go out to the landowners effected. -
