Fn win 70 trigger
A couple years ago I bought a model 70 featherweight. The trigger is stiff and heavy, I also have a rem model 7 that has a custom trigger that breaks right around 3 pounds every time. When I'm shooting the winchester it takes so much to pull the trigger the rifle drifts. I'm not a perfect... -

Piebald turkey?!
I was driving north to go hiking and in a field were dozens of Turkey. One was ash grey with some white and another was 75 percent white and the rest grey. I'm not a turkey hunt, mostly because I think they're everywhere here in north idaho and I takes a lot of the romance away. Anyone else...- b0nes

Idaho whitetail
This years idaho unit 1 whitetail. Killed on a rainy day in late November. It was a lonely day on the mountain and due to the rain I still hunted to within 20 yards of him. -

Sheds?
When do you guys start looking for paddles? We have 2 feet of snow In the yard and who knows how much in the mountains. Is it worth it to go look now for fresh paddles or better to wait until looking for deer sheds?- b0nes

Which scope?
Which one is better for the money, huskemaw or nightforce shv? Nightforce is only a couple hours away so I'm leaning in that direction. Anyone had any experience with either of these? -

Idaho 11 late muzzleloader elk

Accusing ?
So last week I shot a mule deer with my 270 wsm, 140 Accubond leaving the barrel at 3100 fps with impact at 355 yards. He was quartering away hard, bullet hit furthest back rib and exited far side halfway up the neck. But the entrance wound was huge and the exit was small. I've never really... -

So I'm out hiking this weekend and come across a clearly poached moose. I call idfg to report it and was told if I didn't hear any shots and it wast very recent that there was nothing they could do. Literally didn't even get past the receptionist. Head cut off, meat and legs still intact and...- b0nes

finally found a spot
Went out north of Coeur de alene in a spot I google earthed this morning. No trails to the top of the mountain and no atvs aloud on the trails. Got outta the house late and finally found the trailhead after driving 10 miles past it and coming back. Get to the trailhead and a truck and a truck... -

hunting with dog?
I live in idaho and with my gf and dog. My gf loves hunting and wants to go, trouble is we have a year old wirehair. Would it still be considered usiing a dog if my gf had the dog on a leash 50 yards behind me and wasn't carrying a rifle? Thanks -
