Congrats! I drew the late season rifle bull tag for the Wasatch and will be hunting it for the first time. Can’t wait to put boots on the ground in November!
I have my GPS in my pack in case of an emergency, but I have gone to using my phone with OnXMaps App. I also bought a phone case that has a solar panel and internal battery from www.snowlizardproducts.com. Not real impressed with the solar panel, but with the phone on airplane mode, the...
I've spoken with two different FWP offices and this is not how it was explained by FWP. They are telling folks that as long as the cam doesn't transmit photos to the hunter during the hunt (cell signal or other signal) that they are legal to use. Their exact word were "the regular trail cams...
I agree with Gerald and I will probably keep a couple up during the season now. I've always wanted to see what kind of bucks my late season whitetail area holds, but when you have to pull them in August, it is hard to say. I've filled my whitetail tag every year for the last 6 years. Will the...
Not sure.... I have friends that put in for same unit but do not show up as item held, so I don't think it is 100% for b tag (there are 400 given out).
Elk B shows up as item held but still pending under Drawing Results. Hope that's a good thing! Not the case for a couple buddies though, theirs says pending but not held.
I'm curious if any of you carry a portable battery charger in your pack and if so, which one. I've always used my Montana GPS paired with the OnXMaps chip, however, I'm using the OnXMaps phone app more often now and will use it as my primary GPS device this year. I know that airplane mode...
Browning, the best there is.... So they say.
Don't think you can go wrong with either. I own both (different calibers). Winchester firearms is actually produced by Browning, so quality should be the same. Really just comes down to preference. I like my browning, but also love the Winchester...
Here's my bike. It is a Diamondback Overdrive sport that I bought earlier this Spring. I'll echo just about everyone else... Hard-tail, front suspension, disc brakes. I like that you can adjust and lock the front suspension on my bike. The suspension travel can take out some of the energy...
I absolutely love the app as well. I use my garmin with chip when out of phone service, but have found I prefer my phone over the GPS while in service. Switching through the different map and arial layers is the best feature over using a GPS.
Great product and thanks for supporting RMEF!
