    MT unit 670...got my CWD test back yesterday. "suspect" which means they will use an additional test to confirm positive. Buck looked plenty healthy when I pulled the trigger. Glad it was my deer and not my 10-yr old's first one this year!

    good to go...my understanding of match vs standard primers is that match primers go through a more stringent inspection process...otherwise they are identical. most primers i use are match grade.

    I did one of these about 10 years ago for elk on Theodore Roosevelt NP...definitely not a true hunt, but I still enjoyed myself. Some guys killed 1 elk, some killed 5+...everyone went home with 4 quarters and 2 backstraps...the rest went to the local tribes and the food kitchens.

    If you can bump your price to $300 (That's list...might be able to get them for cheaper), take a look at the new Optika line from Meopta. I'd take Meopta over Vortex any day. I'm pretty sure Schmalts (Predator Optics) carries Meopta.

    2011 Chevy 2500 w/6.0 - replaced axle seals - replaced cracked radiator @ 120k - currently @ 160k and sitting in the shop waiting for a rebuilt tranny other than that, it's been a great truck...think the tranny should have lasted longer though. hopefully I can get another 160k without major...

    check out "my trail company" I have one and I love it. you can use it with the "nest" or just the rain fly if you want to go lighter. the company was started by the guy that ran GoLite before it went under.
