I did this with an WY antelope tag a few years back. The wounded warrior sent me a personal letter thanking me for his experience on the hunt. Very cool.
Luckily, my wife was asking for about four years "when are we moving to Idaho"?
We came up to see my grandma about once a year, and she liked the mountains.
We too moved away from her parents. But they have the means to travel and come here to see us.
Our house was difficult to sell, the market...
Yes, i hear you about weather. My buddy i am going with hunted last year. He said one day was fine, then it rained for three days and the roads were barely driveable
2015 is our year, we have been buying pref points for 3 years to get our group of fathers and sons together for an antleope hunt in WY!
Can't wait for September when it should open. Lots of work to do between now and then, but very excited about the prospects.
We will drive in, and camp.

Show us the joy of small game hunting; javelina, rabbits, and dove in a single trip.... that kind of thing.
If/when we don't get drawn for what we want, show what the hunter's options are to still get out and have fun.
Randy, watched the show, I've enjoyed all of the episodes.
Me, my brother, and my buddy stayed in that very cabin and hunted DIY for bears and wolves; our adventure of a lifetime.
You probably saw us in the log in Aug-Sep '08.
We dealt with the tides and getting the boat stranded sometimes...
