    Which western states have been disproportionately good to you in drawing tags?

    Arizona gave me the equivalent of an OIL antelope tag, Idaho gave me a moose tag, can’t complain as about NM giving me single digit draw elk tags. Have a reasonable strategy and follow it. It can happen.

    .300 WSM - a sweet spot?

    I have multiple rifles but the one I always grab from the safe is a .300 wsm. I dislike the the muzzle break, but it makes the kick irrelevant. Bang flop stick for sure.

    First Buck

    I always remember my second son’s first buck. He shot him at about 30 yards. When I checked the rifle to make sure it was unloaded I noticed the scope was at 15 power 😳. He must have started at the top of the back and worked his was down, lol. Congrats to your son!
