    DS's Ram.....

danr55, I agree there's a lot of complexity here and it requires more research but I think the best way to solve this geometry problem is by having DS let the ram rotate back and forth between your and my fireplaces we can give DS periodic updates on the solution of the horn-in-a-circle...

    DS's Ram.....

this last photo is close, but I still see an ellipse, and I still don't get it using the Russ criteria using the Russ criteria, it looks like the B angle is pretty steep back this could be camera angle, or maybe because he's argali-type but, like the other photo, if I look at my computer...

    DS's Ram.....

it's a nice looking animal, that's for sure, thanks for posting the photo the criteria sure are tricky, looking at the thread at 24hr danr55, if you look at how Russ is drawing the "T" lines, it seems that choosing that angle is pretty tricky, it looks like he's picking a tangent at the edge...

    TAKEING all bets......

I just realized, in addition to learning about judging sheep, I got another interesting fact out of these threads... Greenhorn eats elk fetuses. Maybe that's his secret to success?

    TAKEING all bets......

well this sure got lively it's been a learning experience in sheep judging; I wish the pictures hadn't all been pulled, I never got to see the side view as far as this bet goes, it looks to me like the specifics of what is being wagered have to be clearly hammered out before you all ante up...

" Mad Deer Disease....should you worry?"........

jackfish, it seems you don't understand the difficulty in proving causality in disease, and the science of epidemiology epidemiology is a difficult science because it's always a statistical argument, not a direct demonstration of causality here we've got a situation where the prion theory...

    GREENHORNS Secrets !!!!!

Moosie, even with picking a good spot and having competent backup, you're neglecting that other edge research has proven that tight underwear reduces fertility by raising testicle temperature and thereby interfering with sperm production when the male mind is freed of the distraction of...

" Mad Deer Disease....should you worry?"........

by the way, jackfish, you should keep in mind that using phrasing like you did above... "there is no evidence..." would be considered irresponsible by many people, and could even cause you to be held liable in the event someone takes your opinions as expert, eats infected tissue, and gets...

" Mad Deer Disease....should you worry?"........

jackfish, there's an enormous literature that relates in various ways to transmission of prion diseases It started w/ the literature on Kuru, are you familiar with that story? it has notably continued with the more recent literature on BSE and nvCJD I most definitely don't have the time to...
