Alexis is now a member...
of the Crossbow Kill Club! Last night we went to the woods and climbed into our buddy stand, that a friend of ours bought for her and put up on his land for her. Around 7pm 5 deer came trotting past us out of range. Then about 7:20 a deer came in from behind us. I told Alexis not to move and... -
Another Nanner Head tonight...
Well...atleast the freezers are getting full! :) Alexis and I have killed 8 deer and 1 hog so far this season. -
Mature Doe Down...
Deer were moving well this evening saw 7. Even saw a small buck chasing a doe about 4pm. This BIG ole doe didn't make it...dropped here in her tracks. :D -
Patches is DEAD...
I thought this buck had a scar on his face...but...it turned out to be white patch of hair. Never saw one like this before. I shot him last night at a distance of 104yds...he dropped in his tracks. -
Went in hope of Venison...
Our muzzleloader season ends this Friday...so I went deer hunting this evening in hope of filling another tag or two or three. We are trying to fill our freezers with venison as we do every year...but today I came home with HAM and BACON! :D -
Alexis on the Rampage in Kentucky...
Cell phone pic before I retrieved my camera. After spending the weekend in Kentucky for their rifle opener...Alexis chose to kill this buck on the last hour of the last day of her hunt. This trip was GREAT! We shared another hunt together and got to work on our tans...man it was HOT on... -
Alexis Pops # 2...
I think the girl is starting to like the muzzleloader! :D Saturday when she killed the 4pt...was the first time I had ever gotten her to shoot a muzzleloader. This evening she smoked this little doe in our food plot at 67 yards. She was very excited and smacking the ^5's. -

Father-Daughter Tag Team...

Question about CROCS...
When I watch these hunting shows that hunt the dark continent...and they are hunting crocodiles...why do they never show any of the truly large ones being shot??? I mean you can go to Florida and kill Alligators twice as big as the crocs they shoot. You know the ones that ALL the wildlife...- FLIPPER

Greenhorn...this guy has you beat...
Have you guys seen this Nut? He's killed 300 deer with an 85 dodge truck and brags about it! Video tapes it and calls it accidents. Be sure to watch the videos if you can stomach it. He actually documents himself driving across the center lane at 50+ to hit a giant buck... -

Tennessee Elk Drawing...
The 1st Tn elk drawing will take place on 6-18-09. :cool: I realize it is a long shot...but Alexis and I have our fingers crossed. :D There were only 5 tags...1 of which went to auction...which leaves us a chance at the remaining 4 tags. There were a total of 12,841 applicants...so the odds... -
