Leupold and Weaver Scopes
Thanks, Flipper. I've been out of town for a couple of days and didn't see the post. The compact scope line is roughly equivalent to the VX-II line, but in a more compact package. This scope was briefly mounted on a 35 Whelen and helped account for a cow elk in dark timber just before sunset...- taz1001

Leupold and Weaver Scopes
Decided to trim my scope collection. I'll take any resonable offers. Leupold 2-7 Compact, like new in box, an excellent scope for lightweight rifles. $200 or best offer. I drew NM!! unit 52 archery... Any pointers??
I've spent some time in 52 and adjacent 4. Need to check the website and see if I drew for bulls in unit 52. Your scoop on the quality of bulls in 52 is correct. The best I've seen were raggy 6 pointers. Passed up several of them and dozens of cows when carrying an mature bull/antlerless tag... -

RECORD ELK HARVEST IN CO!!!!!...here we go again......
Had 5 and 6 point bulls all over the place during 3rd season. Saw some real dandy (300+ or so B&C) bulls. Didn't shoot because of poor angles, trees/brush, or not the "right" bull. I like when I can be picky and do not regret ever going home without meat, antlers, and hair. Just being close... -

Bipods, B-Square VS Harris...
I own the fixed and swivel version of the Model 25 Harris. The swivel version is definitely the way to go.
