    Saginaw River Bit.

    Jackets for layering

    I just got rid of on uncompraghe first lite jacket. Stepped up and purchased a Sitka jet steam as my out layer jacket. What Sitka jacket do people use most of the time when elk hunting when hiking in and then sitting to glass.

    Nosler 7mm 140gr gone so fast

    I can find nosler 7mm 140gr AB in the stores. Got a notification at night at 11:32 eastern time. Tried to buy some 7 hours later and all of the bullets were gone. I can find the bullets in the stores with 15-20 dollar premium. Guess I will have to keep looking.

    Shooting tripod or glassing tripod

    Need some help deciding what to carry in on day trips. I have a primos tripod for shooting off of, and then I have a glassing tripod for binos or spotting scope. Should I carry both tripods or is my light weight shooting sticks and leave the primos back at camp?

    Hunting large burns

    Wondering if some people can give me a general idea of how to hunt and glass burn spots. The unit I am hunting has had numerous burns through out the last 5 years. My question is how much time do spend glassing a burn prior to moving on to the next burn area?
