Bringing the fam to TX for a week at the end of March, planning to do a couple days in Austin and a couple in San Antonio. Need a recommendation for which hill country town we should stay in for a couple days and any must see places other than the popular touristy spots. Gracias!
Here’s to the homies that have gone on, I hope their fall is filled with steep assed, rocky canyons, overflowing with spooky chukar, scrubby mule deer, and rag horn bulls. Maybe we’ll cross paths again some day… 🍻

Anybody got a read on whether or not this is a good idea?
I'm considering taking the family to San Antonio for a little spring break getaway toward the end of March. Anybody have any suggestions for getting in a day or two of pig hunting around there? Open to driving an hour or two and doesn't need to be guided or outfitted, but not against that...
A bill was filed today to take control away from the state wildlife board and establish a continuous open season on deer in Virginia. Ms. March's contact info is below if anybody wants to reach out to tell her this is a terrible idea.

I have a elderly father who likes to check out the birds at his feeder and his current binos are junk... So, looking for something that is going to get used at short distances - 10' to 50yds, relatively lightweight, and budget friendly, probably under $200. What say you all? @schmalts

I normally just throw game bags into my pack for the hike out, but have a new pack for this season (MR Pintler). I know it's not rocket science, but looking for tips and examples for packing boned out meat on the load shelf. Are you just using the Caribou style boned out bags on the shelf...
