Changes to MT Upland Season - Resident Priority Takes Effect This Year

Good point. Given some of the Western Big Game Outfitters (like Thompson Falls crew) hunt public, or the guys who outfit on landlocked public, let them do their thing with the same openers as residents. If it doesn't impact them, why would they oppose?

Changes to MT Upland Season - Resident Priority Takes Effect This Year

The 10 day delay for upland season was great. I'm just a guy who hunts/fish, I wouldn't know the first thing about bringing something to legislature. Hopefully they can see the benefits to MT Residents, and parlay that success into something that benefits other seasons.

Changes to MT Upland Season - Resident Priority Takes Effect This Year

In my opinion the average DYI Montana Resident hunter isn't upset about the outfitter hunting on their favorite Public Land parcel. Maybe the compromise is give the NR who hunt with a licensed outfitter the same start end dates as MT Residents. No change. That should keep the outfitters happy...

Changes to MT Upland Season - Resident Priority Takes Effect This Year

It would be the single best thing the commission could do. The NR who put in will continue to put in, I doubt we would see any loss of revenue. That would be incredible for the Residents of Montana.

Changes to MT Upland Season - Resident Priority Takes Effect This Year

The delay for NR was the best decision the commission has made in a while. It was bliss for 10 days, was able to get my kids out with little pressure. Listening to podcasts gripe about lack of birds, it is just all very interesting to hear. For my family, congrat's to the people who put this new...

    Montana season structure proposal 2.0

It is alarming how the mule deer numbers have declined. I like these podcasts, many things discussed I have thought about while hunting. Reduce the tags, give them a rest. I want my kids to have the same opportunities I had.

Montana HB - 462: Worth your time Marijuana Taxes & Access

Jock, that is how I recall the state employee's remarks also. They could not parse out voters like me who were influenced by the sales pitch a portion of the revenue would be allocated toward conservation. I learned a lot from this process. Thanks to this group for keeping me informed. I am...

Montana HB - 462: Worth your time Marijuana Taxes & Access

I am finally posting on a forum after reading them for years. HB - 462 is the type of issue I am interested in. I am a Montana Resident. Montana Voter. I hunt, fish, recreate throughout the state. I watched the meeting thanks to you folks posting the link. The reason I voted for 190 was the...
