Most of the free ones I’ve accumulated actually for my Savage action bolts. Kinda nice to keep one stashed in my pack, range bags, truck, buried in the bottom of bino harness, left sock, etc. You just never know when you could use them!
I feel called out. I ended up using one to stir up some acraglass the other day, figuring I’d throw it out after. Nope, still wiped it down and put it back in the random Allen wrench container. 🤦♂️
Have you tried any other non-lead options for the .30-30? I always see the TSX and E-Tip when I’m browning Barnes’s and Nosler’s website but I haven’t tried them yet.

Depending on how far you have to walk with them, I had them on 12’ rebar drowning rods when I could drive up to the creek. Made for easy setting without having to get too far into the water.
