    No wait on Suppresso’s?

#nevershootunsurpressedagain, lol Seriously though, the deal is real. I only wish the technology was available when I was younger.

    Planning with chronic injuries

The saying is “you will never be as young as you are today”. Keep working out as much as possible, every day until you can’t. I know your health issues are enormously frustrating. Don’t give up. Try to be in the best shape you can be with every days limitations.

    21 year old poacher

Wow, that guy took his poaching very seriously. Such disregard for multiple laws is incredible.

Dall Sheep Hunt in Alaska - The Best Hunt of My Life

SC Living Outdoors should be using the name “Natural Born Killer” or maybe “East Coast Killer”, lol. Following…

    Dove 2026

We whacked them today. I shot a dozen and my son a couple fewer. Nothing get me primed (regardless of the heat) for the fall like Sept 1st!

I appreciate the insight, thank you.

    Suppressor and tight bolt

It was certainly warm today. Weird it didnt stick on the first two shots though (only on the last two). I cleaned the bolt, chamber, etc. I plan to go back tomorrow and will be particularly attentive to the temperature. I guess it just really bugs me as I have shot several hundred rounds with...

    Suppressor and tight bolt

I purchased a new suppressor and threaded four rifles to use the same one. The first two (smaller calibers) have worked flawlessly. Some of you know I have a MT moose tag in my pocket so I grabbed the .300 wsm today and headed to the range to dial in the rifle and change of impact with the new...

    New rules for pa.

In Maryland the warden can certainly come on your property (not in your property, ie house) without a warrant. Its mostly private land here and they couldn't do their job otherwise. That said, I have only had interactions at the gate or road. They don't just walk thru the woods looking for hunters.

    Valid concern or paranoia?

If your doing nothing wrong it shouldn’t make your worried. Why the cameras are there ( and everywhere) is what it is. None of them will go away nor will there be less in the future. Now, stop picking your nose!

Thats about 1% of the tags this year.

My contact said there were actually three tags that were drawn but not paid for. I only got one to replace the other NR tag holder. The other two were residents that didn't pay the $125 fee for one reason or another (please don’t slaughter me if he resident fee is wrong, I didn't pay enough...

Well, I purchased the tag today. Apparently there just over 30 NR tags and I am replacing some NR who drew, but never paid for the tag. To that person…thank you very much! I came to the conclusion that I would never likely draw (and technically did not this year). MT gave me the opportunity and...

I mean, I got the call from Helena MT this afternoon. Certainly was not pressured for my credit card and he said I have until Friday to decide. I plan to speak with him tomorrow to get the local biologists number…seemed pretty legit so far.

Ok, so I apply in a bunch of states. I have been fortunate enough to draw some terrific tags. After a season of applications with a shoot for the moon strategy I didnt draw any OIL tags or the equilivant for elk or deer. That’s fine, my plan was to fish and hunt a bunch in Maryland which is...

    Is your wife tracking you?

We track each other. You know how much time and frustration I have saved not getting the “where are you calls anymore”?

What is "the great American novel"?

It’s hard to pick a favorite. I just read Lonesome Dove a couple of months ago. I enjoyed the plot etc., the writing style was very different and took a while to get used to. My English teacher might have used the word “prose” to describe it. Anyhow, when I have time to burn and a story to...

    Liver pudding

A pepper taste and cooked in a skillet until golden brown…serve with eggs and toast. Perfection, lol. And if anyone is wondering, buy Rapa brand!
