    To be clear, I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard anywhere that @Eric Albus has said that he thinks CC is illegal or should be illegal. He’s pretty consistent with saying he’d like to see the Supreme Court give a definite ruling on the legality of it.

    I’m going to have to disagree with you on this. Corner crossing has always been legal even though most hunters haven’t done so. A property with checkerboard might be less valuable to you with what you’d be willing to pay but the actual real estate market doesn’t reflect that.
