We were watching the northern lights when we saw several lights in the sky in a line going east. Must have been the star link satellites. I got a picture but am too stupid to post pictures!
Redmt,
I will take off the high dollar scope and leave the rings on the rifle. I will then let it go for $900 and that I feel is a great buy for a rifle that looks like it just came out of the box and shot very, very little.
If you don't want it I will post it in the for sale thread.
My gun room is full of stuff while remodeling in the basement. I need to get the 77-22 out and see what scope it has, then I can give you a price.
It is in perfect condition, not shot since the early 90's, then Dad passed.
After years of sore feet from boots not wide enough I had a pair for summer work custom made by Nick's Boot's in Spokane. I still wear them when doing work around the ranch. New soles and upgraded twice in thirty years and never sore feet! Well worth the custom made price.
I think Dave's knee would be able to handle running to "cut a big bull off at the pass" if his boiler room was filled with good Italian grub. If he did not take some to camp someone needs to talk with the camp cook. Or possibly take him to town to an Italian "Scarf and Barf" ?
My hats off to...
Did I miss reading where Dave was taking some of his famous home made whitetail salami to camp? If not, he must have used up all of last years venison which is a shame. Or he could have been just too darn busy!
Dave N's post of White Rabbit is a good one. For those of you who may like another fantastic rendition of it, YouTube Molly Tuttle's version. A musicians must!
A neighbor lady wears extra large German WWll wool pants with suspenders for late season hunting and swears by them. Almost the same as wearing wool coveralls. And much cheaper too!
Alpine01 ......Chainsaw dust/parafin wax is also waterproof, very important.
keakakea.......I cut my strips longer and tapered to a point for easier starting.
