Great bull and loved the action in the story, I hunted the first hunt 16B absolutely dead,packed in south from Aeroplane Mesa is there a better area in the Gila Wilderness, thanks -

2024 NM Gila Elk Hunt (The tag dreams are made of)
Was this in 16B? I packed in from Aeroplane Mesa and our group didnt hear any bugleing, no fresh poop, only saw 1 elk, September 1st, Is the second hunt better or another part of the Gila Wilderness better Lilley Park zilch- AggieNM

HI I am pondering Unit 12 Elk for 2025, which part of unit is best, looked on Google earth not many water spots are the eplus ranches a place to check since you note cattle water...Thank you
