Alaska "Self Guided"
...80 feet accurately with an 8wt. And big bugs. Fishing a quarter mile stretch of river on this day she hooked and landed 100 silvers and a couple of dandy Char. We were just a mile or two out of the salt. Silvers are my favorite when they are in. If they are not there it’s’ tough to catch them.- Salmonchaser

...in an MDT HNT chassis. Whole goal was to have as short a package as possible with the suppressor (once the approval comes through) for a handy/dandy blood and guts rifle. A Once in a Lifetime AZ Desert Bighorn Sheep Experience
Congratulations on taking a dandy desert ram. That's something 99% of all hunters will never get to experience. In my mind there's no need to apologize or explain why you chose to go guided. I'd love to know more about "your partner". Thanks for sharing your perfect sheep hunt.- littlebighorn

Fire up the saws!
...The idea that it is always "necessary" is something promoted by industry and its allies. Our forests managed themselves quite fine and dandy long before europeans showed up. A balanced approach toward thinning and an abundance of fire would start to get things back on track, but I didn't...- Justabirdwatcher

'24-'25 chukar season
...have guessed would have been great but the birds were super skittish. I only got within range on two groups and both flushed low over the dog. The others flushed wild at 60-100 yards. Even the sheep were skittish, which is really odd. 43 in this group, one real dandy ram, and a few other...- Irrelevant

Montana Mule Deer Mismanagement
I love reading your stories. I've never had the commitment to pursue a single buck (or bull) to that level. I've always been too scattered, too flaky, too lazy.- Irrelevant

Says the guy whose starter went out on his truck loading hay from the field, had to pay to get it driveway delivered, is now finding himself very alone restacking it in the barn, and just found out the starter for my special dandy truck is gonna be $375.
